The conference fees will include a copy of the SMPS'2012 Springer-Verlag book, attendance to the sessions, coffee breaks, conference dinner and lunches.

Members of the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) e.V. can get a GI member rebate of 20 €.

Members of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT) can get an EUSFLAT member rebate of 20 €.

When registering for this conference, you can also choose to become a member of the European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT) according to the fees shown above (whether you are a student or not). As a new regular member of the EUSFLAT, you will automatically get the EUSFLAT member rebate of 20 €.

Every student must electronically send a valid confirmation of enrollment to smps2012@ovgu.de that clearly indicates a matriculation (registration) number. This e-mail must be submitted within 24 hours after the registration.

EUSFLAT Student Grants

Funded by the EUSFLAT, we are proud to offer 3 EUSFLAT students grants of 300 € each. These grants are only available for candidates fulfilling the following conditions (based on EUSFLAT Student Grants Program).

The candidate must be co-author and presenter of an accepted paper. Application for a student grant can only be done at the time of submitting, as will be clearly indicated in the call for papers. In case of multiple student authors, only one can apply for a grant.
The candidate must be EUSFLAT student member (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) at the time of application.
The candidate has not received two student grants before.

The Student Grant responsible on the EUSFLAT board makes an autonomous selection among the candidates. Additional criteria will be: referee reports on the paper, time since previous grant, fair distribution among institutes and countries, EUSFLAT membership of supervisor(s), etc. No communication on this matter is possible. The EUSFLAT web page will keep a record of past grant holders in order to guarantee transparency. The grant holders will be announced prior to the early registration deadline.
