N2  - In order to enrich music information retrieval applications with information about a user's listening habits, it is possible to automatically record a large variety of information about the listening context. However, recording such information may violate the user's privacy. This paper presents and discusses the results of a survey that has been conducted to assess the acceptance of listening context logging.
